DartMUN XIII Secretariat:
Jessica Campanile is a ’20 from Mahwah, New Jersey. She is studying linguistics and psychology with a minor in human-centered design. Last year, she was Chargé d’Affaires of DartMUN, and in high school, she worked on conference operations and crisis for her school’s annual conference. On campus, Jessica is a member of the Dartmouth Sing Dynasty a cappella group, participates in theatrical productions, and is the Multimedia Editor of The Dartmouth.
Anjali Peddanna is a ‘20 (sophomore) and at Dartmouth she is a French major with an Anthropology minor on the Pre-Med track. She has participated in MUN conferences since high school and last year served as a committee director for DartMUN. On campus she is also a part of the MUN travel team, Mock Trial, SIBS, and works part time as a BME Research Assistant. She is looking forward to a great conference this year!
Director of Public Relations
Sam Wilson is a ’20 from Madison, Connecticut. Around campus, Sam is am a member of SIBS and a Mathematics tutor. He is studying Economics and Mathematics.
Bethany David is a ’20 from Winnetka, Illinois. She is majoring in Economics and minoring in Quantitative Social Sciences and Government. In high school, she was co-president of her high school’s Model UN team. Last year she co-chaired a Current Crisis Committee. At Dartmouth, Bethany is a ski instructor at the Dartmouth Skiway, is a spinning instructor for FLIP classes, and is on the Women in Business Executive Board.
USG of General Assembly Committees
Anne Pinkney is a ’20 from Rochester, New York studying history and Spanish. Throughout high school, Anne chaired local Model UN conferences and was involved in student government. At Dartmouth, in addition to participating in DartMUN, Anne serves on the executive board of Movement Against Violence, an organization dedicated to combating the prevalence of gender-based violence and sexual assault on college campuses, and is a member of the Student and Presidential Committee on Sexual Assault as well as the student advisory board for the Sexual Violence Prevention Project.
Erika is a sophomore at Dartmouth and plans on majoring in computer science modified with statistics and minoring in French. Erika has participated in Model UN since freshman year of high school. Outside of Model UN, Erika is involved in Women in Business and has also been a teaching assistant for introductory computer science. She is grateful to have been able to continue Model UN at Dartmouth and looks forward to being the USG of Ad Hoc this year!
USG of Historical and Future Crisis Committees
Sam Zarkower is a sophomore at Dartmouth College, who is majoring in Government and History and minoring in Public Policy. He participated in his high school’s Model UN club, specializing in crisis committees and serving as a mentor for the newest members. Last year he co-chaired DartMUN’s Historical Crisis Committee: The Wars of the Diadochi. On campus, he also serves as the Director of Finance for College Democrats, the Chair of the Allen House Executive Board and a DLAB Student Facilitator.
USG of Special Committees
Lauren is a ’20, and this is her second year with DartMUN! She participated in Model UN extensively in high school and was president of the club her senior year. In addition to DartMUN, Lauren does anthropology research on campus and is planning to major in biology, with an emphasis on zoology and ecology.
USG of Current Crisis Committees
Soham Basu ’20 is a proud Cincinnati, Ohio native. At Dartmouth he is studying Government, Public Policy, and South Asia. Aside from MUN he is involved with the Dartmouth Law Journal, the Rockefeller Global Leadership Program, and the Hindu student organization Shanti. He is an avid soccer and Chelsea FC fan, follower of politics, and movie lover.
